STJ are able to undertake full fire door surveys, reporting back to the client to provide an indication of non-compliant locations and recommendations to overcome any issues raised. This makes an ideal situation as we can then continue to work with the client and advise and guide on a program of works to rectify the issues and work towards a fully compliant building with strong fire compartmentalisation as intended when first built.
I have worked with STJ on two schemes over the last two or so years and they have performed exceedingly well. In addition to the works they have been contracted for, they have also pulled the stops out to help us out of difficulties created by other parts of the supply chain. Their staff are skilled and accommodating and to me one in particular, Rod, epitomises the ethos of the company. He is experienced, capable, hard-working and most very importantly customer focused.
STJ have had to bridge the gap on a few occasions between expectation and what is delivered to site without making a big deal out of it and have been a significant factor in getting the highest level of quality end product we demand as a client.
On the evidence of the last two projects I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Mike and the staff at STJ.
