The Longley Centre Sheffield

The Longley Centre is a mental health hospital in Sheffield, operated by Sheffield Health & Social Care NHS Foundation Trust, providing various services across its numerous wards and departments.

This project saw a disused area of the hospital undergo a full refurbishment program. This enabled new administrative office space, as well as new facilities to the patients and visitors. And finally an upgraded Section 136 area (including 2 suites).

STJ were employed by T&C Williams to undertake the following works on this project:

  • Doorset Manufacture (Fire, Anti-Barricade, Anti-Ligature etc).
  • Doorset Installation.
  • Ironmongery procurement.
  • Grand Master Key Suiting management.
  • Internal Glazed Screen; manufacture & installation.
  • Anti-Ligature architraves, plinth blocks, skirtings etc; manufacture & installation.

The Longley Centre project was worked over 3 phases to allow each area to be fully completed by all trades and handed over completed.
