Highbury Hospital is a complete new building with Balfour Beatty being the main construction contractor – STJ being the Joinery Subcontractor appointed to complete the joinery package.
Design involvement with Balfour Beatty construction and the NHS Trust prior to contract starting on site – We believe that involvement at an early opportunity can help both the main contractor and the client gain greater products and iron out design and installation issues prior to site construction or product manufacture.
Manufacture and site installation of internal fire rated glazed screens – Some of the internal screens required opening apertures, impact resistance and heavy duty glass and timber sections to meet the unit requirements.
Procurement – Supply & Installation of internal high performance door sets complete with anti barricade system.
Ironmongery – Supply & Installation of all internal door ironmongery and high specification door furniture.
Finishing Items – Supply & Installation of all finishing items; skirting, architrave, door linings, window boards etc.
Fixing Details – High specification fixing details, anti tamper and anti ligature driven specification.
- Riser enclosures to aid the installation of mechanical and electrical items
- Cantilever design to aid the fixing of sanitary items
- Site fixing of IPS units and Trespa wall panelling
- Pipe encasements – supply, manufacture and install
