DDM Brigg Shop Fronts

Having successfully manufactured and installed two previous shop frontage works for DDM, we were delighted to be involved in the works at the clients property in the Market Town of Brigg.

This saw us first manufacturing and installing the smaller shop front (Age UK, formerly Ambience). During installation works, we were required to undertake underpinning works to stabilize the property which is of an age.

We also undertook a full re-roof task of this ‘high street’ property which saw the existing roof stripped fully back section by section with new timber wall plates and traditional trusses installed before having a like for like roof covering re-applied.

Whilst working within the upstairs areas, we manufactured and installed three front facing sash windows, each needing supporting lintels introducing as well as the two internal doorsets requiring supporting lintels.

The original DDM shop front saw the entrance door central, we manufactured a new shop front to match the other two properties and as such we removed low walling and re-built to suit the new shop front.

Shop fronts were manufactured using tricoya & accoya, very robust and extremely well performing materials when exposed to the elements for many years.

The last task on this project saw us re-rendering the first floor front wall and painting the same along with the new shop fronts below.
